Fluorescent Glow Shapes

SHAPESMost kids like anything that is bright and shiny, colours included. After reading a blog post   over at Peekaboo, Make and do, about using cut out shapes to create pictures and patterns, I decided to use up my fluorescent cardboard paper to make my own version of this activity. The fluorescent paper (which almost glows in the dark) costs just 99 cents a packet.

FLUORESCENT PAPER

I downloaded a template of basic shapes from HERE and printed them onto the fluorescent (glow) cardboard paper.

SHAPES

I laminated the paper before cutting out the shapes.

FLUORESCENT SHAPES

Get your kids to create as many pictures and patterns as possible. If you use the template that I used, the shapes can the be doubled up as flashcards.

N.B. If you laminate them, you can draw on the shapes using whiteboard pens.

Here are some I made earlier. Lol!
