LORAX PROJECT ACTIVITY DISPLAY
For the last day of The Lorax Project, we decided to do a parent and child workshop where the parents could see what what had been done during the course and participate along with their children.
After the children did a short recital from the Lorax “I am the Lorax I speak for the trees. I speak for the trees, for the trees have no tongues” we continued with the workshop.
We decorated some plant pots, filled them with soil and planted the seeds.
Next was an Earth Day word search puzzle. I chose this one with only seven words to search for as I have noticed that kids tend to get frustrated if they have to search for more than ten or fifteen words. You can get a FREE copy from HERE
To finish off the workshop we did a lovely Lorax Earth Day cut and paste activity.
The children and parents had fun colouring, cutting and pasting this activity.
